ANNUALS

GERANIUMS – 4” Pot        $2.25 each

â GERANIUM GLOBAL RUBY RED – Red colored blooms on vining stems.  Free flowering on green leaves.  Prefers partial shade.  Great for hanging baskets, window boxes, or containers.  Remove dead blooms.  Allow soil to dry out between watering.  Likes fertilizer.

MOSES IN THE CRADLE - $1.75 each

â Whorls of strap-like fleshy foliage.  Keep soil evenly moist.  Not bought for its flower.  Leaves green on top, purple on underside.  Take bright light (full sun).  Can be brought indoors in fall as a houseplant.

ASPARAGUS FERN              $1.75 each

â Arching green fern-like branches that take medium light.  Not known for flowering.  Good for baskets and containers.  Takes dry conditions.  Large tuber-like roots.  Stems have thorns.

CORDYLINE RED SENSATION $2.50

â Bronzy red spikes give it a tropical look.  Great for containers.  Height 18-36”.  Takes full sun. Similar to Dracaena spikes in looks and growth requirements. 

ENGLISH NEEDLE POINT IVY      $1.75

â Prefers semi-shade and well drained acidic (ph 0-6) soil.  Nice as a single potted plant or for rock gardens as annual.  Could be perennial depending on winter temperatures.  Tolerant of drought and high heat.  Low growing, spreading, green pointed leaves.  Great for hanging baskets.  Climbs several feet.  3-5” tall.

Joe Pie Weed - $5.50

Grows well in full sun, poor soil.  Prefers some moisture but has good drought tolerance.  Avoid soggy soils.  It is vigorous and tall with strong stems.  It features deeply cut, dark green foliage and peach to lilac pink flowers.  36” tall.  June to August blooming time.  Flowers good for cutting & dried arrangements.  Used as a border or wild garden.

Hosta – Dressingham Blue - $5.50

Siberian Iris – $5.50

Medium to broad, pendent or semi-flaring falls and medium to long upright standards.  Have a useful flowering period between spring & summer flowering perennials.  Best in sun or light shade and moisture-retentive.  Slightly acid soil.

o DANCE BALLERINA DANCE -  Ruffled, lilac-white standards and flowering lilac falls with honey markings in the signal area and white tinges to the edges.  24” tall.  Blooms May & June.

Shasta Daisy – Ice Star - $5.50

Full sun in moist, well drained soil.  Good for border plants or cut flowers.  Popular, easy to grow perennial features bright white, fully double flowers.  The dark green foliage grows compact and bushy.  18-24” tall.  Blooms June – August.

Lily - $5.50

Prefers full sun and requires well drained soil.  Used as a border plant cut flower.

o BLACKBIRD – deep ruby-red flowers with black shading and freckles in the center of the petals. 16” tall.  Blooms June & July.

Bred for gardens, compact growth that produces big fragrant blooms.  Extremely tolerant of powdery mildew.

o BLACK JACK – Requires full sun in any well drained soil.  Used for rock gardens or the perennial border.  Large sedum with very dark purple black foliage and bright pink flowers in 6” clusters.  Upright habit that doesn’t split in the middle.  The largest, darkest sedum.  24” tall.  Blooms August – October.

Lambs Ear - $5.50

Best in full sun and ordinary well-drained soil.  Good border plant.  Drought tolerant, low growing and spreading variety has soft and fuzzy, oval, gray-white leaves.  Produces a nice contrast in color and texture to grasses or colorful plants.  12” – 18” tall.  Blooms June – August.
